Locomotive Repair Service was the company established first. It started as a weekend job for the owners, Thomas and Ronnie Holdaway. It soon became full time. Now the Locomotive Repair Service crews maintain over 40 locomotives.

LRS Parts came into being 3 years ago as a separate company. Before then, it functioned as a part of Locomotive Repair Service. Many of our customers do not have the time to spend hunting parts and so we started this service and it has grown from there.

Choo Choo Leasing was started by Ronnie and Thomas as a way to provide the current employees of Locomotive Repair Service at that time with a profit sharing program.

Locomotive Repair Service East is the newest member of the LRS Companies family. This branch is crewed by a former employee of Locomotive Repair Service who moved to Knoxville, TN. If you need maintenance or repairs in the Eastern United States, they are the guys for the job.
